I studied illustration at Kingston University and left with a BA (Hons) degree in 1995.  Whilst at Kingston, my work was short listed for the MacMillan Children’s book prize on two consecutive years.

Since then I have worked as a freelance illustrator and also as a staff nurse at the local hospital.  Now I am devoting all of my working time to illustration and am currently developing my own children’s book ideas.

I am a member of the Association of illustrators.  I live with my wife and three young sons on Romney Marsh in Kent.

Clients include: Faber and Faber, Dalmatian Press, Egmont, Pearson educational and Reed Publishing.
